TRIBIT FLYBUDS REVIEW, flybuds 3, 100H Some of us have champagne dreams when it comes to headphones. Sure, we’d like to be able to drop a month’s rent on the best headphones ever, but our lite beer budget might mean otherwise. If you’ve ever been surfing Amazon, wondering if some of those budget priced earbuds are any good, I’m about to tell you about one of them. The Tribit Flybuds 3 in pink landed on my desk recently for testing and review. I’ll tell you about the sound quality, set up and features and if I think they really are a good buy.

Tribit Flybuds 3 100H review

Tribit Flybuds 3 are truly wireless earbuds. They come in a large charging and storage case and before you think it’s too big, hold up because it’s also a power bank that can charge your phone. They come with silicone ear fins for stability and silicone ear tips you can adjust for a proper fit. The earbuds are also designed with Bluetooth 5.0, which is the next-gen of Bluetooth connectivity and gives you a stable and uninterrupted connection. Latency is super low and the earbuds start the pairing process as soon as the case lid flips open, meaning they’re usually ready to go by the time they reach your ears.

Key Features: Tribit Flybuds 3 100H review

So what’s the allure of Tribit Flybuds 3? The design of these is pretty basic, but they’re not unattractive. The low profile shape will practically disappear into your ears, so they’re ideal when subtlety is required. Low Price TRIBIT FLYBUDS REVIEW, flybuds 3, 100HFirst up, the Tribit Flybuds 3 have a very attractive $39USD/$55CAD price tag, which makes these earbuds stand out to those shopping on a budget. Particularly when a lot of truly wireless earbuds ring in at about a hundred bucks, these are a huge standout for price alone. Long Battery Life While a lot of headphones struggle with battery life, Tribit has pushed longevity over the top. The Tribit Flybuds 3 boast 100 hours of battery life. There’s about 5 hours of battery life in the buds themselves, which is about standard for this type of headphones. But with an additional 95 hours of battery stored in the case, that equates to about 20 days of listening without having to recharge. Charging is automatic so basically every time your buds go in the case, they get topped up. Yes, this $39US/$55CAD dollar pair of earbuds annihilates pretty much every other charging case on the market. Yes, that case is about twice as big as other charging cases but that tradeoff seems more than worth it. Plus with its flip-top, rounded edges and sleek design, it’s still easy to toss in my bag. Charging Case/Power Bank The reason the Tribit Flybuds 3 have such a large battery life is because it houses a 2,600 mAh battery which will not only power those 100 hours of listening, but it can also recharge your phone. Just plug your phone cable into the USB port, press the control button and you’re ready to go. There’s also the option of a rapid, 10-minute charge for your earbuds. If they’re completely out of battery, you can give them a quick charge and they’ll have 90 minutes of power. The charging case itself takes about two hours to become full, via the USB charging cable. TRIBIT FLYBUDS REVIEW, flybuds 3, 100HTouch controls Another feature mostly found in high end headphones is on-bud touch controls, yet here they are in the Tribit Flybuds 3. Double tap to play/pause on/off, triple-tap to skip forward a track and press and hold to enable your phone’s voice assistant.

Tribit Flybuds 3 100H: Sound quality

While outstanding battery life and the bonus of a power bank is cool, where the rubber meets the road is on the sound quality. My initial impression was the Tribit Flybuds 3 were pretty good—especially for the price. Right away I noticed good volume and clear sound. The bass is strong and has a good vibe though it is missing some of the resonance you’d find on a pair of high end headphones. Vocals come through loud and clear and overall the sound quality is shockingly good. I did feel these headphones are a bit on the flat side when it comes to overall sound; there’s not a lot of depth or intricacy to these earbuds either on the low end or the high and if I were going to get really nitpicky, some music can seem like it’s being played through a sound dampening filter that compresses the overall sound, but at $39… come on, that really would be nitpicking. Don’t get me wrong; for what you get hear these sound just fine and would be a perfect pair of headphones to keep as an extra in your travel bag, or to get for forgetful or butterfingers types. What is the Independent Button? The Tribit Flybud 3 charging case has what Tribit has oversold as its “independent button” on the front of the charging case. Push the button and it will reveal battery levels via four LED lights on the front.

TRIBIT FLYBUDS REVIEW, flybuds 3, 100HWaterproof Rating

The FlyBud 3s have an IPX7 waterproof rating, which translates to total water submersion of up to one meter, if you ever felt the need to do so. Basically, this means you can rinse them off if needed, run in the rain or do a really sweaty workout without worrying about damaging the buds. Again, in a pair of earbuds at this price point, this is another great feature to see.

Wireless range/connectivity

The wireless range is up to 33ft/10m. If there’s a major complaint I can make about the Flybuds 3 it’s that I did hit some connectivity issues with them. Wandering across my main floor, the buds were prone to breakup when I put walls between the buds and my phone. Now that’s not an eyeryday thing, but if you like to walk around your home without your phone in hand while on conference calls, these might not be the right buds for you.

Overall review: Tribit Flybuds 3

Overall I have to say I’m floored by how good the Tribit Flybuds are. When I run the final checklist here of all the high end features you’re getting for $39, it’s kind of hard to believe: There’s surprisingly good sound quality, touch controls, 100 hours of battery life, a power bank for your phone and other devices, plus they’re waterproof. Downsides? The overall sound can seem a bit flat, and the connectivity is an issue if you don’t have your phone with you. They also only come in two colours. Even so, those are kind of minor cons. So I hereby dub these my new favourite budget earbuds and I can definitely recommend them for you. The Tribit Flybud 3s are the perfect earbuds for anyone looking for an affordable, good-value set of true wireless earphones with pretty impressive sound quality. They’re particularly good for those wanting extended battery life and the added bonus of never running out of juice on your phone! One last time I’ll mention that insane price point: $39US/$55CAD and you can get them from Tribit’s website or off Amazon. *A note about Affiliate Links: Occasionally I will include affiliate links in my reviews. I love the sound qualiry when theae things work but I constantly have a.problem getting both buds to work at the same time. It is damnes annoying to have to spend 10 -15 minutes to get these to work each time I uae them. The user’s inatructions are no help at all.

I had just purchased a pair of these from Amazon.ca for fifty seven ninety nine with a six dollar coupon lowering the price to fifty one ninety nine. I am totally looking forward to receiving these earbuds!
