OOh. Great question. I didn’t try to sync with my contacts/calendar since it’s a loaner. I still have it. Let me see if it will.

I bought a BB Priv this year. To my surprise, the Priv:

1.) doesn’t have a native file manager

*AND* (big AND)

2.) doesn’t sync with my Apple Calendar and Contacts. Apple stopped the sync services —and— BB / TCL doesn’t have a fix for that. So effectively, without spending money USD$50 for a commercial piece of software, the Priv is not much use,

Does the KEYone fix those things?

My Passport still works great and talks to my Apple computer.

Yes.. it’s too bad the screen issue is marring the other great features. The battery life is indeed stellar.

Took 3 weeks but it eventually started to peel off. When I took it into my local repair shop the tech told me there was very little adhesive used at all. Easy fix or replacement but still, super annoying.

That said, I love this phone. I’ve gone through probably 2 dozen handsets in the last decade and this is, by far, my favorite. Part of it may be the nostalgia factor, and a big part goes to the battery (which is stellar), but I think this will stay in my pocket longer than any device I’ve owned since the Blackberry Pearl.
