It does a brilliant job of both vacuuming and mopping and has adjustable suction, motor, and water flow. It also allows you to tweak things to fit your setup through the app. The water tanks are sizeable, so you won’t have to change or clean them out often. It’s super quiet, with a long-lasting battery, and it’s supported by a great app with a solid voice assistant.

Roborock S7 Max V Ultra
The Roborock S7 Max V Ultra is a “do it all” vacuum and mop, and you can see why in my review of the S7Max V Ultra. It does a great job of cleaning your floors and includes a built-in mapping system to learn your room layout. The S7 Max V has a vibrating mopping plate, which essentially doubles the amount of scrubbing that happens, and it’s smart enough to tell the difference between your tile and carpets. The base station will remove dust and debris from the vacuum’s onboard dustbin. It’s the runner up because it cleans a teeny bit less effectively than the Deebot above, and because it’s been very hard to find in stock, though Roborock’s web store, here, seems to be the best place to find it.

If you’re looking for a vacuum-only model, the iRobot Roomba j7+ is a great choice. It features smart mapping, can be programmed to spot clean certain rooms and comes with a compact Clean Base unit. It detects and avoids hazards and pet waste, and its geofencing capabilities are top-notch. It can even sense when you’re in the area and delay cleaning until later.
